Without a Christian worldview the Christian may engage his culture, but he may be doing more harm than good by the choices he makes. As he develops his worldview based on Biblical principles, the Christian will need to know what is happening in the culture and politics so he can fight the good fight of faith to conform them to the Word of God. Finally, a Christian view of history arms him with encouragement and examples from that “great cloud of witnesses” that went on before him in the age-long battle for the kingdom of God.
